Cheese Soup

Make Me Rich Farm

Capheaton, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear NE19 2DD, UK

A lovely place which, when you drive there seems to be in the depths of the country, but is really within 8 miles of the city of Newcastle. The Cheese soup is the best thing I have ever tasted, I have it every time I go there but my friend has tried other dishes and they are very tempting to me. There are 8 different varieties of locally made cheeses that you can actully see bit of the process, and they all have local names. The upstairs restaurant also sells most unusual items, tea-towels, wonderful greetings cards, local mementoes, and all the staff wear aprons bearing the legend, " Age only matters if you are a cheese". I think these may be on sale too. I commend the vegetable quiches that are brilliant according to my friend.
